Doing Business with Mexican Tribal Reservations?

The Seri community of the Mexican state of Sonora, although living in closed communities, they are not living in reservations. Reservations are nonexistent in Mexico Likewise, all indigenous tribes are considered Mexicans and will abide to the Mexican Law. The Trade Agreements (NAFTA) applies to all the Mexican territory with no exception and U. S. exporters may do business there, as they do business anywhere in Mexico. The Seris are hard workers and trustworthy people and they understand business just like any other Mexican businessmen. They hold much pride on what they can accomplish on their own so, as a recommendation, when it comes to helping the Seris, one has to make sure that the nature of that help has been discussed and agreed on by the Seri’s representatives, lest one provides help they never asked for.
