U. S. innovative machinery exhibiting at FABTECH Mexico 2018

Over 50% of exhibiting companies at FABTECH Mexico are from the United States

That a large number of U. S. companies have a presence in Mexico its no wonder. Mexico has long been the U. S. third largest trade partner, with sharing trade of $557 billion. The top export categories (2-digit HS) in 2017 were: machinery ($43 billion), electrical machinery ($41 billion), mineral fuels ($26 billion), vehicles ($21 billion), and plastics ($17 billion) [USTR]. Imports from Mexico have a sustainable growth which amounted to 6.9 percent in 2017.

Mexico leads the way as a U. S. top trading partner of manufacturing technology. FABTECH Mexico is the largest platform for sales of all product categories conforming the metalworking industry: Cutting, bending and forming machinery, welding equipment and supplies; machine tool parts, dies, jigs, molds and robotics.

With fifteen years of continued success FABTECH Mexico has grown to be the largest trade show for fabrication technology. Last year, the formerly collocated CoaTech pavilion was acquired, thus increasing market opportunities to exporting companies in the coatings and finishing segments.

FABTECH Mexico’s exhibition floor plan shows a large booth from the U. S. Department of Commerce intended as a Business Lounge for matchmaking and networking; eligible companies received an invitation directly from the U. S. Commercial Service (@USCSMexico on twitter) to attend the event on May 2 around 7:00 PM.

In addition, the U. S. Business Lounge is presenting numerous companies needing distributors for Mexico and ANY Mexican company is invited to stop by and request information or business meetings with their preferred U.
